User Researcher

  • 12 month contract with a 6 month extension option
  • A BASELINE security clearance is required for this role or the ability to obtain one

A User Researchers is required to undertake a range of user research activities able to inform roadmaps for several whole-of-government services provided to government agencies.

You should have:

  • At least 2 years experience in User Research;
  • Experience in the creation of design hypotheses to improve the service and working collaboratively to run design experiments;
  • Experience in the identification of user needs, ensuring that your team understands them and keeps user needs at front of mind when making product and prioritisation decisions;
  • Previous experience in agile and work at pace as part of an agile multi-disciplined team;
  • Knowledge of the user research and service design methodologies used by the DTA;
  • Familiarity with whole-of-government G2G technical services; and
  • Familiarity with the research and design community within the APS
